The Yaesu SPA-1 is the dedicated RF power amplifier unit designed for the Yaesu FTX-1 Field transceiver, transforming it into a high-power base station configuration. With up to 100 W output on HF/50 MHz and up to 50 W on 144/430 MHz, the SPA-1 is the ideal upgrade for operators who want more power, greater station flexibility and improved everyday usability from their FTX-1 system.
The SPA-1 attaches directly to the rear of the FTX-1 Field without tools, following the modular concept of the FTX-1 series. In addition to higher RF output power, it includes an integrated automatic antenna tuner for HF/50 MHz, a built-in 2.5 W speaker for clear and powerful receive audio, and two HF/50 MHz antenna terminals for flexible antenna setups.
It is an excellent choice for operators who want to use the FTX-1 Field not only as a portable transceiver, but also as a capable base station with higher output power, integrated tuning and practical antenna connectivity.
