The Sharman SM30SWIV is a compact, high-current switch mode power supply designed for radio communications equipment and other applications requiring a stable DC power source.
It delivers 13.8 V DC at up to 20 A continuous current, with a 30 A surge capability, making it well suited to amateur radio and communications equipment. The output can be operated at a fixed 13.8 V DC or adjusted over a 9–15 V DC range.
A clear digital LCD meter on the front panel displays output voltage and current simultaneously. Separate Voltage Adjust and Noise Offset controls are provided, with the Noise Offset function allowing switching noise to be shifted away from a received frequency to help minimise interference in sensitive radio applications.
Low-current output terminals are conveniently located on the front panel, while heavy-duty 30 A output terminals are fitted to the rear. Active fan cooling helps maintain reliable operation under higher loads.
With compact dimensions and a weight of approximately 1.5 kg, the SM30SWIV is equally suitable for permanent use in the radio shack or for portable radio installations.
